Transportation is in our blood — literally. Founder Maurice Patterson grew up riding the railroad with his father, a railroad engineer who took him along as a kid and installed transportation in him early: the discipline, the pride, and the responsibility of moving something people are counting on.
Maurice officially started in the trucking industry in 1994 as a truck driver. In 1997, he became an owner-operator, and in 2001, he and his wife, Elizabeth, founded Patterson Trans Inc with one truck and one promise: to help people provide for their families. For the Pattersons, trucking has never felt like work. Every load delivered — to the local community or across the country — helps touch people’s lives, and that’s still the reason the company exists.
